the room-team handbook

protect the room.
keep it fun.

Your job is to help Cal and Toya run a welcoming, readable room without becoming the center of it. Stay calm, use the lightest effective action, and keep moderation private whenever possible.

good moderation is mostly invisible.

it removes friction, protects momentum and lets the room enjoy the show.

your role

help the room flow

A moderator is a trusted assistant, not a co-host, salesperson, police officer or gatekeeper.

keep the focus right

Join the fun naturally, but leave space for Cal, Toya, tips and viewer conversations to stand out.

make chat easy to join

Reduce spam, repeated demands, arguments and clutter. Do not fill every quiet moment yourself.

de-escalate quietly

Be factual and calm. Do not shame viewers publicly, argue about decisions or perform authority.

while the room is live

help with the things that matter

Be useful without creating more noise. Apps already handle most repetitive notices, so focus on context, accuracy and anything Cal or Toya may have missed.

01

welcome without flooding

Say hello when it feels natural, especially when Cal and Toya are busy. One warm welcome is enough.

02

answer what you know

Use the bio, menu and current room information. If the answer is not clear, do not guess or promise anything for them.

03

support buying intent

Point viewers toward the menu, current goal or private option when they show genuine interest. Keep it helpful, not pushy.

04

notice meaningful support

Thank substantial tippers or someone who completes a goal when it adds warmth beyond the automatic app response.

05

catch what they miss

If a tip note, completed goal or important question was missed, tell Cal or Toya privately rather than repeating it publicly.

06

use the tools you were given

Use PimpaGuard for moderation. Do not use other app controls or change room operations unless Cal or Toya asked you to.

room standards

what good looks like

do

  • welcome people naturally when it fits
  • answer simple room questions accurately
  • acknowledge genuine support without pressuring
  • watch for repeated behavior, not one awkward message
  • use private messages for operational issues
  • ask Cal or Toya privately when unsure

avoid

  • dominating chat or replying to everything
  • negotiating prices or making promises for them
  • public arguments, lectures or warnings
  • repeated GIFs, promos or copied messages
  • sharing private plans or operational details
  • treating the moderator badge as status

making decisions

follow the same ladder every time

Context matters, but the punishment for each recorded strike is fixed. Every flag must include a reason.

before

redirect when appropriate

For a small misunderstanding, answer briefly or steer the conversation back toward the show. Deliberate or serious behavior does not need an informal warning first.

no strike recorded
01

strike one

Use /flag username code. PimpaGuard records the reason and immediately blocks their room chat for 10 minutes.

10-minute mute
02

strike two

A second active strike records the new reason and blocks their room chat for 60 minutes.

60-minute mute
03

strike three

PimpaGuard locks their room chat and asks the team to complete the removal with Chaturbate's native ban control.

assisted ban

30-day forgiveness: active strikes expire after 30 days. Use `/check username` before acting when you need to confirm a viewer's current position on the ladder.

Severe behavior

Threats, severe harassment or obvious malicious disruption can go directly to Chaturbate's native ban. Privately tell Cal or Toya what happened.

PimpaGuard

private tools for consistent decisions

Commands are hidden from public chat when the app has Transform Messages permission. Responses, histories and room-team alerts stay private.

/flag username spamadd a strike using a saved reason code
/flag username reasonadd a strike with a clear free-text reason
/check usernamesee active strikes and mute status
/mute username 10m reasonmute room chat without adding a strike
/mute username show reasonlock room chat until manually unmuted
/unmute usernameremove an app-controlled mute or lock
/unflag username correctionremove the newest incorrect strike
/flaghistory usernamereview the private audit trail
/guard statussee active records and app status
/helpreceive your permitted commands privately

adding a reason

use a saved code or write your own

Everything after the username becomes the reason. PimpaGuard privately shows the reason to the viewer and room team, then saves it with the moderator, time and strike in the viewer's history.

fast option

use a reason code

/flag noisyviewer spam

PimpaGuard expands spam into the saved explanation: “repeated or disruptive messages.” Use a code when one accurately describes what happened.

specific option

type a custom reason

/flag noisyviewer kept demanding after warning

The complete text after the username is stored and shown privately. Use this when the saved codes do not explain the situation clearly enough.

1

check the username carefully

2

choose the closest code or write a factual reason

3

send the command once and let Guard apply the strike

Manual mutes work the same way: `/mute noisyviewer 10m spam` uses a saved code, while `/mute noisyviewer 10m arguing in public chat` saves a custom reason. A manual mute does not add a strike.

important: PimpaGuard can block transformed room-chat messages, but it cannot perform Chaturbate's native ban. When Guard requests a native ban, a team member must use Chaturbate's own control.

communication

public chat is for the show

public

keep it warm and useful

Natural conversation, simple answers, welcoming viewers and brief support for the current room activity.

private

move operations off-stage

Moderation decisions, concerns, pricing questions, schedules, disagreements and anything requiring Cal or Toya's attention.
